PERASMIAN PAMERAN HALAL ANTARABANGSA (MIHAS)
At the opening of MIHAS 2024, the Tengku Zafrul Aziz expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Cabinet members for their attendance and highlighted the growth of Malaysia’s halal industry, supported by key institutions like JAKIM, HDC, and MATRADE. He outlined the strategic goals of the National Industrial Master Plan (NIMP 2030) and Halal Industry Master Plan (HIMP 2030) in enhancing Malaysia’s halal sector and its global competitiveness. With halal exports reaching nearly RM55 billion in 2023, Malaysia remains a global leader in the halal food sector. The speaker announced MIHAS’s expansion to Dubai and future international events, emphasizing Malaysia’s commitment to strengthening its global halal trade presence.
