GLOBAL HALAL SUMMIT 2023
At the Global Halal Summit 2023, Tengku Zafrul highlighted Malaysia’s aim to lead the global Halal industry with an export target of RM63.1 billion by 2025. He outlined MITI’s efforts, including the Halal Industry Master Plan 2030 and the New Industrial Master Plan 2030. The Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) was emphasized as a key platform. Celebrating MATRADE’s 30th anniversary, he praised its achievements and digital advancements.
