I believe jobs are crucial for our economy, supporting families and fostering national growth. Despite COVID-19’s impact, we’ve focused on job creation and retention, with initiatives like the National Employment Council and Penjana Kerjaya 2.0. Our efforts have yielded 462,051 new jobs and reduced unemployment to 4.5%. Moving forward, the JaminKerja programme aims to create 600,000 jobs, addressing structural issues like job mismatch and promoting entrepreneurship. As we navigate recovery, our goal remains clear: to ensure livelihoods thrive alongside our economic resurgence.
