In 2025, Malaysia will chair ASEAN, marking a pivotal moment for the region and celebrating the ASEAN Economic Community’s 10th anniversary. Under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” Malaysia aims to address key challenges like digitalisation, green energy, and regional integration. The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) will drive an outcome-focused economic agenda, prioritising trade, investment, and digital resilience to ensure long-term benefits for ASEAN and Malaysia.
