Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Zafrul announced productivity gains, including MITI’s recognition for completing EV regulation guidelines and cutting the Regulatory Impact Statement approval from two months to 10 days. As of Q3 2024, 166 projects under bureaucracy reforms saved RM561.5m, while Good Regulatory Practices achieved RM922m in cost savings. MITI continues to enhance business regulations and boost productivity across its agencies.
