Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the electrical and electronics (E&E) industry remains strong, with high demand for skilled workers, particularly engineers. Minister of Finance Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz highlighted that five E&E companies require at least 1,000 workers. Additionally, with over 1.5 million foreign workers returning home, local companies are offering training and higher-paying jobs to meet the sector's growing workforce demands. Various grants and loans have also been allocated to support small businesses.
