Increased interest from Chinese companies has strengthened Malaysia-China relations and boosted confidence in Malaysia's Unity Government, according to International Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz. Malaysia's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (Miti) aims to enhance the business environment to attract further investments. In 2022, Malaysia approved RM264.6 billion in investments, with RM55.4 billion from China, spanning 91 projects in various sectors.
