The government has approved RM1.193 billion under the Wage Subsidy Programme 2.0 (PSU 2.0) as of May 21, benefiting 73,815 employers and supporting 642,123 workers. Additionally, 137,593 workers found employment through the Recruitment Incentive and Training Assistance programme. RM11.95 billion in SME Soft Loans has been approved for 25,406 SMEs. Furthermore, RM722.91 million in Frontliners Allowance has been distributed to 2,028,639 medical staff and essential personnel involved in Covid-19 management.
