The Wage Subsidy Programme (WSP) has been extended until July, covering all sectors, with RM1.5 billion allocated to support up to 500 employees per company, benefiting 2.5 million workers and 200,000 employers. This brings total WSP funding to over RM20 billion. Additional measures include exemptions on HRD Corp levies for June and extended sales tax and stamp duty exemptions. The Pemerkasa+ package also offers a three-month loan moratorium or repayment assistance for affected groups.
