Over 3,400 runners, including WCWL Chery owners, joined the inaugural Chery Eco Run 2024 at Dataran Wawasan, Putrajaya, themed “A New Journey to a New Green Life.” Featuring 5KM and 10KM categories, the event promoted environmental awareness through fitness and community spirit. With an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared purpose, participants embraced sustainability and healthy living, making the run a unifying step towards a greener, more sustainable future.

A meaningful event dedicated to supporting impactful organisations like the Protect & Save the Children Association (PSC) and the Care & Cure Foundation (CCF). PSC played a vital role in uncovering the crimes of serial sex offender Richard Huckle, assisting in his conviction in the UK for 71 counts of serious sexual offences against Malaysian children, while also helping over 15,000 child victims and promoting safety education in schools and communities. Similarly, CCF provided over 5,000 hours of free molecular hydrogen therapy since 2017, aiding hundreds of disadvantaged individuals in recovering from chronic illnesses. This run not only encouraged physical health but also empowered participants to contribute to these noble causes, turning every step into a symbol of hope and support for those in need.

The inaugural Larian KITA took place on 15th December 2024 in the picturesque setting of Bagan Terap, Sabak Bernam. Participants experienced the unique joy of running through scenic paddy fields, a stark contrast to urban routes, with many donning vibrant kain pelikat and kain batik. The event was graced by DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, accompanied by DYMM Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin and DYTM Raja Muda Selangor. Filled with lively activities and community spirit, it marked the first stop of a Selangor-wide journey, with Klang next on the list.
