Malaysia and Vietnam should collaborate more to attract investments in the ASEAN region, said Minister Tengku Zafrul ahead of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s visit to Vietnam. He highlighted Malaysia as Vietnam’s third-largest foreign investor, emphasising potential in sectors like agriculture, green and digital economies, and halal products. Malaysian agencies will engage with Vietnamese businesses, and Zafrul encouraged Vietnamese firms to view Malaysia as a global halal hub.
