International Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has been appointed as a member of the UMNO Supreme Council. He took the oath of office during the council meeting on Thursday night. UMNO Secretary General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan announced on Twitter that the appointment was made by UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. The council meeting commenced with Tengku Zafrul’s oath-taking as the new appointed member.
