Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul pledged financial support to NSCMH Dialysis Care, which subsidises treatment for 600 patients across 12 centres. Chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock highlighted a RM3.75mil annual shortfall in covering operating costs of RM15mil. Zafrul acknowledged rising dialysis costs and the growing number of patients, pledging to help reduce the centre’s deficit, though full government coverage wasn't feasible.
