The payment for the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Special Withdrawal of up to RM10,000 will start on April 18, earlier than the previously announced April 20, according to Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz. The payments will be made in stages, following requests from the public. The Special Withdrawal, open from April 1 to April 30, aims to ease the financial burden of EPF members under 55, especially ahead of the Aidilfitri celebration.
